Tayrona National Park in northern Colombia is a large protected area that encompasses the slopes of
the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in areas adjacent to the Caribbean coast. It is known for its palm-
covered coves, coastal lagoons, rainforest and abundant biodiversity. In its center, the ruins of the
Pueblito are an archaeological site accessed through trails in the forests, with terraces and structures
built by the Tayrona civilization. This particular tour has group departures on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 a.m. to return at 9:00 p.m to the exit point
